Travel in April
During the month of April, London is quite beautiful. The Mind Spirit Body London Festival runs 28th April 2017 to 1st May 2017. The Mind Spirit Body London Festival is held at Olympia. It focuses on healing, yoga, meditation and all forms of holistic living. If you are looking for relaxation or an amazing place to send your employees, this is a must attend festival. The goal of the festival is to challenge the way people approach their daily happiness with cutting-edge alternative practitioners. The various workshops are always the highlight of the festival and are hosted by some of the world’s most inspirational and best-selling authors, well-being experts and teachers.
Travel in May
Visit one of the top resorts in the United States this spring. The U.S. Gateway Canyons Resort & Spa, recognized by both Travel + Leisure and Conde Nast Traveler as a top property in the West, opens for the season on May 12, 2017. Guests get a taste of the true dude ranch lifestyle with daily trail rides, ranching education, roping lessons, and historic tours throughout the land, showcasing the region’s mining industry. It’s a great break from the daily grind and of course, it’s not your typical vacation.
Travel in June
Canada’s culinary journey Across the Top of Canada is in June along with a chance to celebrate both the summer solstice and Canada’s 150th birthday. Guests travel around Canada’s north on a private 737. Guests then dine at some of the most remote locations and taste food prepared by some of Canada’s best chefs over eight nights. It’s an amazing journey and the food is like nothing you’ve experienced before.
Travel in July
If you’ve ever wanted to visit Iceland, July is a great place to go. Although not a lavish beach excursion, Iceland is certainly most pleasant in the month of July. The days are longer which you’ll have more time to explore. We say take a dip in Geysir’s hot springs or visit Thingvellir National Park, where the ION Hotel offers hiking, diving and fishing excursions for those that want to experience life outdoors. If you are a foodie, you will love the capital city of Reykjavik. The Nordic folk-food movement is amazing with an emphasis on fresh fish and local lamb dishes.
Travel in August
As summer gives way to summer, August is the perfect time to visit Medieval madness in Visby, Sweden.
For seven days each year, this Unesco-listed port becomes a time warp during Medeltidsveckan. This is the world’s largest festival celebrating the Middle Ages. Annually visitors flock to the cobbled streets inside Visby’s ancient town walls to marvel at the historic fun and games of jousting, lavish banqueting all medieval style of course. The town comes alive with markets, crafts, re-enactments, music, and storytelling. You honestly won’t get this close to heading back in time unless you hitch a ride on the Tardis with Dr. Who.
Over 500 events are planned throughout the week. This year’s festival runs from the 6th-13th of August.
Travel in September
With fall on the way, Hawaii and summer travelers depart the airways and the savings begin for lucky travelers. This is one of the best times to score a deal on rooms, tours, and more when you stay on the Hawaiian islands. Two iconic Hawaii properties are celebrating milestones in 2017, so look for special anniversary deals at the Royal Hawaiian and the Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach Resort and Spa.
Travel in October
Who can mention October travel without thinking Germany for Oktoberfest. Experience this iconic festival as Germany will also be celebrating 500 years since the Reformation so there will be a lot of celebration going on. Together the two events will keep you well-fed, engaged and of course seeing the beauty of the country.
Travel in November
Travel in December
Bring the magic of Christmas to life on a Rhine river. Tour the river stopping at some of Germany’s most festive Christmas markets along the way. We suggest Amsterdam to Basel (or in the reverse direction will work too) so you don’t miss a thing. The holidays in this part of the world are truly magical!
So where are you going to travel in 2017?
